This is part 2 of the 7th album created by recording piano improvisations. Those who know me, know that I have previously written extensively about the concept of 'edges', and maintained an interest in them. This current period of time has felt like standing before a lot of potential pathways, potential futures.

When I listen to the album in its entirety, I see someone contemplating all that has been before through various senses and experiences, and moving on to look ahead to what might come.

This second section, 'Motion', focuses on looking forward. There's a sense of searching, sometimes with excitement, sometimes with trepidation, but balanced by feelings of closure. One chapter is ending just as another begins. Such is the perpetual ebb and flow as life moves on.
