This is the sixth album created by recording piano improvisations. My state of mind has a heavy influence on how my music develops. Winter has always been associated with a time of reflection and self-awareness. I recorded this at a time where I have been deeply re-evaluating my values, my experiences and actions, and questioning where I am headed. It is interesting to note that the first album, 'Dislocation', was also written during winter in a period of remembering more difficult times. The difference is that this album is less fractured. One of the ways I learn more about myself over time is through listening to these albums and hearing the meditations of the person(s) that I used to be.
